About
My name is Rachael and I am a qualified Psychotherapist.
Counselling and psychotherapy offers a space for you to gain a clearer understanding of yourself and any issues you would like to work through. Rather than giving advice, I offer a relational practice, where you and I can discuss difficulties in a safe environment. Although positive outcomes cannot be guaranteed, therapy can help to increase self-awareness, and promote autonomy & responsibility.
Many clients can benefit from therapy and may experience an increased satisfaction with life, deeper empathy & empowerment for themselves and better relationships.

I studied at The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Insitute from 2017 - 2020. I gained a BSc(Hons) in Integrative Humanistic Counselling & Psychotherapy, which was accredited by Staffordshire University and The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). While studying, I gained experience at Nottingham Women's Centre where I volunteered as a therapist. I am a registered member of the BACP and work according to their guidelines and ethical framework.
